Goals

The project Cities.Multimodal of INTERREG BSR Programme aims to develop and implement strategic approaches and integrated solutions for efficient and safe urban transportation systems, including development of cycling and other non-motorized modes of transport. 

Methods and Project Scope 

Project partnership - 17 partners from 8 EU-countries (Germany, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) + Russia, presented by the Pskov City Administration and ICSER Leontief Centre (Associated Partner). Planned scope of work: estimate the traffic demand in the historical borders of Pskov and develop solutions for better use of the urban space, reduce the number of personal vehicles, and plan a compact transport infrastructure.

Project Results

A set of solutions is planned to be applied during the celebration of the 39th International Hanseatic Days in Pskov in 2019.
