Aim of research:
Research includes analysis of investment bidding practices: the sale of privatized enterprises shares and realization of investment programmes in St. Petersburg
Methods and substance of research:
The analysis revealed significant legal, technical, economic shortcomings to difficulties in the area of investment programme implementation control. The paper formulates and substantiates a number of procedural, organizational and economic recommendations to be incorporated into investment bidding practices
Results of research:
It also suggests an alternative to investment bidding – monetary sale of shares in large profitable enterprises at their market value
