2011-09-27 :: Higher School of Economics (NRU) of St. Petersburg Conference "Innovation Economics: Realities and Prospects"

September 27, 2011 took place a scientific conference of NRU School of Economics of St. Petersburg "Innovation Economy: Realities and Prospects." The conference was attended and gave presentations by the staff of Leontief Center: Head of Research Department N.Oding (report: "Opportunities and limitations of the innovation economy in Russia today"), A.Zaostrovtsev (Report: Russia: institutional failure "), D.Kadochnikov (report: Integration of the methodology of the new institutional economics applied to institutional analysis), A.Batchaev (report: The impact of innovation on the results of economic development (for example, the largest U.S. metropolitan areas), T.Vlasova (report: Social capital as a factor of the development of spatial agglomerations) E.Kolchinskaya (report: An approach to the identification of potential brances for the development in the region in terms of coefficients of localization (for example, the manufacturing sector of Saint-Petersburg), O.Rusetskaya (report: Dynamics of regional differences in quality of life in North-West Russia), L.Limonov (report: Land ownership and management of development as factors of spatial development of the territory), L.Savulkin (report: Features of innovation in Russian). B.Zhikharevich and Y,Ryabkova presented the report "Opportunities of empirical test of the performance of different technologies of territorial strategic planning", included in the program, but could not to speak at the conference (due to business trip). L.Limonov was an arranger and a leader of the section "Spatial Economics and Regional Innovation Policy". The collection of reports will be published as a result of the conference.
