2021-02-22 :: The Leontief Centre Chair Participated in the Higher School of Economics St. Petersburg Winter School 2021

On February 20, the Master’s Programme “Urban Development and Governance” was presented at the Higher School of Economics St. Petersburg Winter School 2021. Leonid Limonov, Programme Academic Director, Professor at Higher School of Economics St. Petersburg, Director-Coordinator for Research Programmes, presented the Programme and the Leontief Centre activities. Olga Rusetskaya, Associate Professor at Leontief Centre Chair, Head of Investment Planning Department, held the business game “Innovations and Development of Territories of a Large City” for applicants. The business game players discussed the key smart city attributes from the Top 10 Smart Cities according to the Swedish IT Company EasyPark, as well as the key ideas of the 15-Minute City Concept, presented by Carlos Moreno, Mayor of Paris’ Special Envoy for Smart Cities, Professor at University of Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne, Scientific Director of the Chair “Entrepreneurship, Territory, Innovation”. The business game players also discussed the relevance and feasibility of the Smart City and the 15-Minute City concepts in St. Petersburg.
