2011-05-13 :: Sixth Award Ceremony of Professor Boris Ovsievich for Fundamental Economic and Mathematical Studies, made in Russia

On May 13, 2011 in Saint-Petersburg (House of Scientists) Sixth Award Ceremony of Professor Boris Ovsievich for fundamental economic and mathematical studies, made in Russia, as a result of competition of 2010 was held. Award Ceremony was established under St. Petersburg Institute for Economics and Mathematics of Russian Academy of Sciences, for education and science support and is awarded for fundamental economic and mathematic research. Alfred Koch, Ph.D., pupil of Boris Ovsievich has become the initiator of the Award Ceremony and philanthropist.

Sergey Ivashenko — for the development of a model of general economic equilibrium for inflation processes analysis (VBM-group)
 
III award 
Mikhail Sokolov — for investigating the problem of units selecting in the economic and mathematical models (St. Petersburg Institute for Economics and Mathematics of Russian Academy of Sciences)
Vladimir Soloviev — for the development of complex economic and mathematical models for software market (Institute for the Humanities and IT) 
 
Encouraging award 
Anna Ignatenko — for econometric analysis of exchange rate and monetary policy of the Bank of Russia from 1999 to 2009
Yulia Karaeva — for the modelling of the regional energy sector development taking into account innovative technological solutions (Research Centre for Energy Problems of Russian Academy of Sciences of Kazan Science Centre)
