Interdisciplinary Seminar

Since 2002 on the base of Leontief Centre the Interdisciplinary seminars The Actual Problems of Social Sphere Transformation hosted jointly by Leontief Centre and Sociological Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences are being held with participation of leading sociologists and economists of Saint Petersburg. On the base of the seminars materials in the period from the end of 2002 to June 2003 a book was published.

Interdisciplinary seminar in 2009 has resumed operation under the new name "Economy and Society". New partners National Research University Higher School of Economics (Moscow) and its St Petersburg branch, St. Petersburg Institute for Economics and Mathematics of Russian Academy of Sciences joint forces with the Leontief Centre and Sociological Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences in organizing the seminar.
