Leontief Centre Chair at HSE St. Petersburg

In 2011, ICSER Leontief Centre established the Leontief Centre Chair at the Higher School of Economics St. Petersburg to improve the educational process of bachelor’s and master’s degree students through strengthening educational and methodological network between the Higher School of Economics and ICSER Leontief Centre, including the participation of practitioner teachers - leading researchers of ICSER Leontief Centre, to conduct courses for the HSE educational programs.

Activities of the Leontief Centre Chair at HSE St. Petersburg:

• Organization and implementation of research seminars, webinars, projects and other innovative forms of classwork on acute problems of urban and regional economy, regional economic policy and territorial strategic planning, carried out by the leading experts in the relevant fields - ICSER Leontief Centre employees. 
• Research studies of urban and regional economy analysis, application of modern principles of state and municipal management and regulation of spatial development, as well as methods of spatial planning and economic space analysis (in the framework of seminars, projects, etc.).
• Systematic work in the field of career guidance and vocational education for the Leontief Centre student interns. Active involvement of the trainees in the implementation of the current projects of the Leontief Centre.
• Cooperation with the Master’s Programme in State and Municipal Management 
  (since 2017 – Urban Development and Governance).
• Strengthening educational, methodological and research cooperation with the Department of Public Administration at St. Petersburg School of Social Sciences and Humanities.
