2026-03-22 :: The 2025 International Leontief Medal Award Ceremony "For Contribution to Economic Reform"

The award ceremony for the 2025 International Leontief Medal "For Contribution to Economic Reform" was held in St. Petersburg on March 21.

 

In accordance with the decision of the Leontief Center’s Public Awards Committee, the following individuals were awarded the medal:

 

Vadim Valerievich Radaev, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Laboratory for Economic and Sociological Research at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, First Vice-Rector of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, for his services to the reform of higher education and the development of economic sociology.

 

Sergey Mikhailovich Drobyshevsky, Doctor of Economics, Director of Research at the E.T. Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy, was awarded the award for outstanding contributions to the theory and practice of macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, and to the development of economic, monetary, budgetary, and tax policies in Russia.

 

The award ceremony was conducted by L.E. Limonov, Deputy General Director of the Leontief Center, and S.A. Vasiliev, Chairman of the Leontief Center’s Public Awards Committee. The 2025 laureates were introduced by S.A. Vasiliev, Scientific Director of the Leontief Center, and M.E. Dmitriev, President of the New Economic Growth Business Partnership. Following the awards ceremony, the 2025 laureates gave lectures.
