Solemn ceremony of awarding the International Leontief Medal "For Contribution to Reforming the Economy" to the laureates of 2021-2022

Solemn ceremony of awarding the International Leontief Medal "For Contribution to Reforming the Economy" to the laureates of 2021-2022 took place in St. Petersburg.

 

The award ceremony was opened by I.A. Karelina, General Director of the Leontief Center and S.A. Vasiliev, Chairman of the Public Committee for Awards at the Leontief Center, Honored Economist of the Russian Federation, Scientific Director of the ICSER Leontief Center, laureate of the medal named after. V. V. Leontiev "For achievements in the economy" (2003).

 

Marek Dombrowski delivered a welcoming speech, excerpts from the decisions of the Public Committee were read out by A.P. Zaostrovtsev, presented the laureates of the International Leontief Medal "For Contribution to Reforming the Economy" S.A. Vasiliev.

 

After greetings and introductions, the awards ceremony took place. The ceremony ended with lectures by the laureates.

 

The 2021 laureate is Sergey Konstantinovich Dubinin, Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (1995-1998), Head of the Department of Finance and Credit, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov made a presentation "The policy of managing systemic risks in the context of financial sanctions."

 

 

 

Laureate of 2022 - Andrey Alekseevich Nechaev, Minister of Economy of the Russian Federation (1992-1993), President of the Russian Financial Corporation Bank (1993-2013) made a presentation "The Sinusoid of Russian Reforms".
