2013-06-20 :: Signing Ceremony of the Protocol on the Implementation of the project concept “Belkomur”.

On 20 June The protocol on the comprehensive program of industrial and infrastructural development (the realization of complex development project) on the basis of public-private partnership among the Komi Republic, Perm Krai, Arkhangelsk and Murmansk region has been singed in the official building of Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Northwest Federal District Mr Bulavin with the participation of the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of President of Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Mrs. Izotova in the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Strategic partnership "North-West" created for cooperation among the government, business and nongovernmental organizations initiated the signing of the protocol in view of the accession to the project of the Murmansk region.
The special place in the Program is given to infrastructure project of construction and operation of the railway "Belkomur" in direction of Solikamsk-Gainy-Arkhangelsk-Syktyvkar.
This project is one of the most important investment projects of the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030 and the Strategy for the Development of the Northwest Federal District.
