2009-11-16 :: A Round Table on Preparation for Holding the All-Russian Population Census 2010

On November 16, 2009 Senior Research Fellow of ICSER Leontief Centre Batchaev A.R. participated in a round table on preparation for holding of the All-Russian population census 2010.

The event was held at the press center of St. Petersburg ITAR-TASS regional center. The round table was attended by: Deputy Head of Rosstat A.E. Surinov, Head of Petrostat O.N. Nikiforov, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of SPbSU I.P. Boiko, Scientific Director of the Agency for Social Information R.S. Mogilevsky, Director of the Sociological Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences I.I. Eliseeva, Vice-president of CROS company O.Y. Soloduhin, and also journalists from central and St. Petersburg mass media. The participants discussed the progress of preparation for the population census and noted its significance for information provision processes to develop effective management decisions within the framework of forecasting, planning and solving the most important development problems of Russia, its regions and cities.
