2017-04-27 :: Irina Karelina and Elena Belova Took Part in a Meeting of the Russian National Sub-Committee (Moscow, Ministry of Economic Development of Russia)

On April 27, 2017 Irina Karelina, Director-General of ICSER Leontief Centre and Elena Belova, Secretary General, Head of Development Department of ICSER Leontief Centre took part in the meeting of RNSC held in Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Moscow.

Participants considered 24 project applications with Russian partners, presented by the 2nd step of 2nd call within INTERREG Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020. The special attention was paid to value of expected results for the regions’ development, alignment with strategic goals of the regions and the North-West Federal District, competences of Russian partners to take part in a particular project and estimates of applications’ quality, proposed by the Joint Secretariat. As a result of discussion and internal rating of RNSC, 20 out of 24 applications have been included in the official list of applications, supported by the Russian side. The list will be sent to JS and along with the internal rating of RNSC will form position of the Russian delegation at the meeting of the Monitoring Committee during discussion and selection of projects for funding. Russian project partners proposed to receive Russian funding.

Raphael Abramyan, Director of Department for Development of Interregional and Cross-border Cooperation gave a welcome address while Andrey Mikheev, Co-Chairman of RNSC, Head of State Committee of the Pskov Region on Economic Development and Investment Policy moderated the meeting.

Irina Karelina is Secretary General of RNSC and a member of the Russian delegation in the Programme Monitoring Committee.
