2015-10-30 :: On October 29 Leontief Centre Employees took part in Discussions on Developing of New Master Plan of St. Petersburg

On October 29, Leonid Limonov, Deputy General Director - Director-Coordinator of Research Programs and Artur Batchaev, Head of the Department of Strategic Planning, participated in the scientific-practical conference "Main Challenges of the Concept of the Master Plan of St. Petersburg for the years 2019-2043", that took place in the Mariinsky Palace.

The conference brought together a representative composition of the participants - it was attended by: Georgy Poltavchenko, Governor of St. Petersburg; Vyacheslav Makarov, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly; Igor Albin, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, deputies, heads and representatives of government bodies, educational, engineering, scientific and public organizations. Participants dicussed issues related to factors influencing the spatial development of the city, the relationship of socio-economic and spatial planning, public participation in the discussion of the Master plan provsions. Artur Batchaev made a report on account of factors in the development of the St. Petersburg metropolitan area in the preparation of the new Master Plan.
