2015-10-21 :: XIV All-Russian Forum "Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia: the Space for Choice and Choice of Space" was held in October 19-20

October 19-20, XIV All-Russian Forum "Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia: the Space for Choice and Choice of Space" was held in St. Petersburg, organized by Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, State Duma of the Russian Federation, Administration of St. Petersburg, Center for Strategic Research Foundation and ICSER Leontief Centre.

Forum brought together over 1115 participants from 19 countries, 54 regions and 84 cities, 93 journalists from 59 media. In total, it were held 3 plenary sessions and 36 actions, including round tables, expert panels and seminars, where it was around 300 speakers, moderators and panelists.  

Organizers held two new contests for the Forum’s participants. Winners of the photocontest "Cities for People" that were elected by Internet voting, became Omsk, Pskov and Yuntolovo municipality (St. Petersburg). 

Winners of the contest "Visualization Strategy" become St. Petersburg (Category 1: symbol (visual image) of the strategy) and Tatarstan Republic (Category 2: brief visual presentation of the core content of the strategy). Diplomas of the contest finalists received Novoshahtinsk, Krasnodar, Surgut. 

Forum’s international program was attended by over 80 foreign representatives from executive power, business community and international organizations, including Council of Europe, Economic Commission for Europe, Association of European Border Regions, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Council of Baltic Sea States, Eurasian Development Bank, European Association of Greenways, VASAB and many others.
