On the 25th of August Meeting with Finnish city planners, representatives of SYKE (Finnish Environment Institute) was held.
In the first half of the day seminar on the theme "Urban and Regional Planning at the St. Petersburg agglomeration (main trends, strategic planning, housing, infrastructure, transport, legal and regulatory framework)" was held. Viktor Polishchuk and Valeri Kim told about urban planning in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. It was also an excursion in English, where the guests were shown the objects of transport infrastructure and large tracts of residential and industrial areas of the city and region (Janna Ivanova and Viktor Polishchuk). In addition, Finnish planners attended two objects of YIT (Finnish construction group YIT), representing various examples of estate development: pinpoint (Novomoskovsky) and integrated quarterly (Novoorlovsky).
