2015-01-29 :: On January 29 Boris Zhikharevich participated in discussion of the first draft of Socio-Economic Development Strategy for the period up to 2030 at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in Tatarstan Republic

On January 29 The regular meeting to discuss the first draft of Socio-Economic Development Strategy of Tatarstan Republic for the period up to 2030 (ICSER Leontief Centre led the development consortium of Strategy-2030) was held at Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in Tatarstan Republic.

Key discussion topics were the issues of environmental security, sustainable long-term development and areas of active coastal areas development. Chairman of the meeting was Artem Sidorov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources in Tatarstan Republic, Head of the Project site "Natural Resources". The meeting was also attended by  Sariya Sirazieva, First Deputy Minister of Economy in Tatarstan Republic; Rustem Kamalov, First Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources; Marat Bakaev and Timur Akchurin, Deputy Ministers of Ecology and Natural Resources; and Strategy developers - Vladimir Gritskikh, Head of the Project local office "Tatarstan-2030"; Boris Zhikharevich, Director of Resource Centre for Strategic Planning under Leontief Centre, Scientific Director of the Project "Tatarstan-2030"; Alexey Krylovskiy, President of AV Group; Elena Makarova, Deputy Head of the Project local office. During the meeting the main approaches to the formation of the Action Plan for the Strategy implementation were also discussed.
