The Leontief Center acted as a partner of the business program of the XXII All-Russian Forum "Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia", which was held in St. Petersburg on October 10-11.

The core theme of the 2024 Forum is "Strategies of the New Time: Sovereignty and Partnership".

The central event of the business program was the XIX strategic session-dialogue "Cooperation of the Regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus: Partnership and Resources for Sustainable Development", which was successfully held in the year of the 25th anniversary of the Union State at two main strategic sites. On October 10-11, the session was held in St. Petersburg on the sidelines of the Strategic Forum. On October 17-18, in Minsk, the Russian-Belarusian dialogue of the regions continued its work at the anniversary XXV International Scientific Conference "Problems of Forecasting and State Regulation of Socio-Economic Development" of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus. The organizers of the dialogue were the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, the State Scientific Institution "Research Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus", and the International Center for Social and Economic Research "Leontief Center".

The Leontief Center also acted as a key partner and organizer of the following events of the business program of the 2024 Strategic Forum:

• III Circular Economy Forum: Innovative Practices of Regions from the Baltic to the Pacific Ocean, 1st stage: "Industrial Symbiosis and Circular Economy";
• panel discussion "Data Economy and Digital Technologies: "City of the Future";
• master session "Quick Victories in Territorial Development: Master Plans and Tools";
• panel session "Green Investments, Public-Private Partnership for Sustainable Development of Cities and Regions";
• panel session "Personnel for Management: Synergy of the Government and Universities";
• XVII International Round Table "International Cooperation for Regional Development: Strengthening the Russian-African Dialogue";
• youth platform of the Strategic Forum "City of the Future".
