On May 26, a strategic session was held in Yelets to develop a draft Long-term plan for the socio-economic development of the Lipetsk-Yelets agglomeration for the period up to 2030. Experts from the Consortium Leontief Center - AV Group Alexey Krylovsky and Rimma Voronkova took an active part in the strategic session.
The long-term agglomeration development plan (LDP) is designed to become a driver of economic growth and increase the attractiveness of the territories of five municipalities - the cities of Lipetsk and Yelets, Gryazinsky, Yelets and Lipetsk districts - taking into account their uniqueness and the specifics of socio-economic development. In addition, the LDP will help attract additional federal funding to the region. The final draft of the LDP will include promising investment projects, as well as organizational measures and regulatory initiatives aimed at removing infrastructure and other restrictions on the development of the agglomeration.
