2022-02-14 :: The 21st International Conference from the cycle "Leontief Readings" - "30 years after socialism: the political economy of Russian evolution" was held in St. Petersburg

On February 11-12, St. Petersburg hosted the 21st International Conference from the series "Leontief Readings" - "30 years after socialism: the political economy of Russian evolution". Conference organizer: ANO "ICSER ??Leontief Center". CJSC ICSER ??"Leontief Center" provided expert support to the conference. Media partners: journals "Problems of Theoretical Economics", "Finance and Business", "TerraEconomicus". Due to the current epidemiological situation, the conference was held in a hybrid format - most of the reports were presented online. Presentations were made by leading Russian and foreign economists from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Rostov-on-Don, Barnaul, Krasnodar, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, as well as from Japan and Poland. More than 100 people took part in the conference.

At the end of the conference, the Chairman of the Public Committee for Awards at the Leontief Center S.A. Vasiliev provided information on the winners of the International Leontief Medal "For Contribution to Reforming the Economy" in 2021 and on the holding of the 2021 Awards Ceremony in person at a later date.
