On December 7, a regular meeting of the joint interdisciplinary seminar of the Leontief Center, the Sociological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Higher School of Economics National Research University - "Economy and Society" was held. The meeting was held in the format of a video conference.

The book "Why has Russia lagged behind?" was presented by the author, D.Ya.Travin, scientific director of the Center for Modernization Studies of the European University in St. Petersburg.
