2021-09-14 :: Leontief Center celebrated its 30th anniversary

On September 11, in the Parade Pavilion of the Peter and Paul Fortress, solemn events were held dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Leontief Center and the 115th anniversary of the Nobel Prize laureate Vasiliy Leontyev.

In the jubilee panel discussion - presenter Sergey Vasiliev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the EDB, Honored Economist of the Russian Federation, Scientific Director of ICSER ??Leontief Center, laureate of the Vasiliy Leontyev (2003) - took part:

• Anatoliy Chubais, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Relations with International Organizations, laureate of the V.I. V.V. Leontyev (2003) with the report "The Global Energy Transition and the Fate of Russia";
• Alexandr Auzan, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, laureate of the international Leontief medal (2014) with the report "Corona crisis: a great institutional shift";
• Alexey Kudrin, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, laureate of the International Leontief Medal (2006) with the report “Institutions of accountability and evidence-based policy in Russia: directions for development”.

As part of the ceremonial part "Our 30 Years", a film about the Leontief Center was shown. Friends and partners of the Leontief Center made congratulations.
