2021-06-28 :: The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Strategy 2035 Approved

On June 24, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug unanimously approved the Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug until 2035. The Strategy has been developed with the advisory support from the Leontief Centre – AV Group Consortium.

The main goal of the Strategy is to make Yamal comfortable for long-term living. “The Strategy’s concept is simple and clear: it means moving forward, sustainable economic growth, and real qualitative changes in the life of Yamal residents,” Sergei Yamkin, Legislative Assembly Chair, commented on the Strategy. The Strategy identifies five key areas to achieve the strategic goal.
