2021-05-18 :: Irina Karelina and Elena Belova Participated in the Working Meeting “Common Road Map for Cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region: Joint Actions for Sustainable Region”

On May 18, Irina Karelina, Director-General, and Elena Belova, Secretary General, Head of Development Department, participated in the working meeting “Common Road Map for Cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region: Joint Actions for Sustainable Region”. The meeting was organized by the Council of the Baltic Sea States and the Swedish Institute within the Baltic Leadership Programme ­– Neighbours. The meeting brought together experts and representatives of regions of the North-West Russia and European/international experts from the BSR countries. The meeting focused on discussing opportunities for cooperation in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The discussion dates back to the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum 2019 and will be continued at the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum 2020-2021 to be held in October in St. Petersburg.

The meeting was held online.
