2021-04-22 :: Olga Iakimenko Participated in the Transnational Awareness Raising Event “Baltic Circular Economy Forum” (St. Petersburg)

On April 22, Olga Iakimenko, Head of Internet Projects and Marketing Communications at ICSER Leontief Centre, Green Mobility International Partnership Initiative Coordinator, Game of Goals Business Game Coordinator, participated in the transnational awareness raising event “Baltic Circular Economy Forum”. Olga Iakimenko moderated the panel discussion “Sustainable Mobility: Motor of Transport Revolution?” together with Kirill Zhanaydarov, Head of Transport Department, Skolkovo Foundation.

Discussants included representatives of SPB GUP “Passazhiravtotrans”, SPB GKU “Agency of External Transport”, Stroyproekt Engineering Group (organization-developer of St. Petersburg new transport model) SPB GUP “Gorelectrotrans”, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, ICSER Leontief Centre, Skolkovo Innovation Center.

The Forum focused on discussing tools and strategies to shift from linear to circular economy. The Forum was included in the programme of the 18th German Week in St. Petersburg as part of the Year of Germany in Russia 2020/2021.

The Forum was supported by the Government of St. Petersburg and cross-border cooperation projects of South-East Finland - Russia CBC Programme.
