2021-04-02 :: Olga Iakimenko Took Part in the Seminar “Road Safety and Traffic Management in the Russian Federation” (Sevastopol)

On 30 March – 2 April 2021, Olga Iakimenko, Head of Internet Projects and Marketing Communications at ICSER Leontief Centre, Green Mobility International Partnership Initiative Coordinator, Game of Goals Business Game Coordinator, took part in the seminar “Road Safety and Traffic Management in the Russian Federation”. The seminar took place in Sevastopol. Olga Iakimenko gave the presentation “Development of Sustainable Mobility in the Cities and Regions of Russia”.

Organizers: Interregional Public Organization “Road Traffic Management Coordination Council” supported by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Government of Sevastopol.

The seminar discussed transformation of transport systems in Russia’s regions. The key topics included public transport improvement, dealing with road traffic jams and accidents. The seminar participants also discussed the National Project “Safe and High-Quality Roads” and development of integrated transport schemes.

The discussion will be continued at the international conference “Combining Urban and Transport Planning — How to Deal with Street and Road Networks Congestion Using Urban Planning Methods” as part of the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum to be held in October 2021.
