2020-11-03 :: Strategic Planning Leaders Forum Online Stage Completed

On October 20-30, online stage of the XIX Annual Strategic Planning Leaders Forum of the Regions and Cities of Russia: Reality 2020 and Agenda for the Next Decade (Strategic Planning Leaders Forum 2020-2021) was held. The online stage focused on joining efforts of various levels of government, business and experts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and integrate the SDGs into Russia’s National Goals and Projects. Organizers: State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg City Administration, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Center for Strategic Research, ICSER Leontief Centre.

The Forum online stage included 13 events. Online event recordings can be found on the Forum online platform. The Forum events took place at various venues: ICSER Leontief Centre’s expert platforms in St. Petersburg; press centers of TASS and RIA Novosti Russian News Agencies, and Russia 24 news channel in Moscow. Speakers included: Alexey Kudrin, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation; Maksim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation; Yevgeny Ditrikh, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation; Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation; Alexander Beglov, Governor of St. Petersburg, and many other experts from 7 Russian federal districts and 18 regions, as well as 34 foreign experts from 13 countries: Belarus, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Mali, Norway, Serbia, Finland, France, Switzerland, Sweden.

In-person stage of the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum will be held in the spring of 2021.
