2020-04-23 :: Leontief Centre - AV Group Consortium Experts Presented the Research Findings on the Most Effective Initiatives and Case Studies of Macro-Regional Development

On April 23, experts of the Leontief Centre - AV Group Consortium presented the research findings on the most effective initiatives and case studies of macro-regional development at the strategic session. The strategic session was held at the initiative of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation via videoconference. It was attended by federal and regional officials, academia and experts. The session participants discussed a number of case studies most relevant to the Angara-Yenisei macro-region:

• Canada’s Regional Development Agencies (case study – Western Economic Diversification Canada).
• The “Rust Belt”, USA (case study – Ohio Revitalization).
• EU Strategy for the Danube Region (case study – Danube Region Infrastructure Development).
• Malaysia’s Economic Corridors (case study – East Coast Economic Region).
• Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor.
• Greater Mekong.
