On October 16-17, Research Fellow Rimma Voronkova attended the II Northern Municipalities Forum (Surgut, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug). Organizer – Surgutsky District Administration. The Forum was attended by municipalities of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, as well as federal and international experts. For the future, it is planned to include municipalities of the neighboring northern regions for discussing joint actions to preserve northern settlements. The event consisted of round tables, workshops, battles and open debates.
