2019-10-30 :: XVIII Annual Strategic Planning Leaders Forum of the Regions and Cities of Russia: National Goals and Territorial Impacts Completed

On October 28-29, St. Petersburg hosted the XVIII Annual Strategic Planning Leaders Forum of the Regions and Cities of Russia: National Goals and Territorial Impacts. Organizers: State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg City Administration, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Center for Strategic Research, ICSER Leontief Centre.

The Strategic Planning Leaders Forum is the main platform for discussion of methods and tools of strategic planning, as well as constructive analysis on the most important and sensitive problems of strategic plans and complex projects implementation in urban and regional development of the Russian Federation. The Forum annually brings together representatives of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, federal ministries and agencies of the Russian Federation, regional administrations and legislative assemblies, municipalities, business, academia, NGOs, mass media, and foreign experts. The Strategic Planning Leaders Forum 2019 hosted 45 events (including 3 plenary sessions) in two days, attended by 1500 participants from over 60 regions and over 100 cities of Russia, as well as by foreign guests and speakers from 25 countries.
