2019-05-30 :: Leontief Centre Hosted the 17 SDGs in the BSR Business Game “Game of Goals” for Students of St. Petersburg’s Universities

On May 30, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) business game “Game of Goals” was held at the Leontief Centre.

The business game “Game of Goals” is considered as a platform for stakeholders to showcase and share best practices, approaches and solutions to achieving the SDGs. The game aims to develop a project contributing to the SDGs for one of the countries in the Baltic Sea region. The game was attended by 5 teams from leading universities in St. Petersburg: St. Petersburg State University of Economics, National Research University Higher School of Economics, North-West Institute of Management RANEPA, and two teams from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

The winner became the team from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, who worked on the project for Norway. The project focuses on the SDG 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns and proposes the idea of making roads from recycled plastic waste.
