2018-06-10 :: Dmitry Medvedev Meets with the Head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Vyacheslav Bitarov

On June 9, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev met with the Head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Vyacheslav Bitarov, at which the Republic’s development strategy was discussed, developed in partnership with the Leontief Centre - AV Group Consortium.

During the meeting, in particular, it was said about the increase in the number of jobs in the Republic. Vyacheslav Bitarov mentioned stability in the labor market and a decline in unemployment in the region compared to last year. He also said that the Strategy includes the targets of creating new enterprises: this is the retail chains Metro Cash & Carry and Leroy Merlin, and Zaramagskaya HPP-1, the largest power plant in Europe, which will be running in the region.
