2018-05-28 :: The V Municipal Strategies Contest (MSC-2018) within the Annual Strategic Planning Leaders Forum of the Regions and Cities of Russia: Stakeholders of Change (Strategic Planning Leaders Forum) Has Started

The V Municipal Strategies Contest (MSC-2018) within the Annual Strategic Planning Leaders Forum of the Regions and Cities of Russia: Stakeholders of Change (Strategic Planning Leaders Forum) has started.

The MSC-2018 organisers: Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, ICSER Leontief Centre, Committee of Civil Initiatives and All-Russian Congress of Municipalities. Leontief Centre is the MSC-2018 operator.

The contest features one main category "The Best Municipal Strategy 2018" and several private ones:

• "The Most Open Strategy Development Process" (Organiser - Committee of Civil Initiatives);
• "The Best Strategic Planning Alignment" (Institute for Urban Economics);
• "Systematic Management of a Strategy Implementation" (Institute for Public Finance Reform).

The MSC-2018 is open to municipalities – urban and rural settlements, municipal districts and urban districts with a population of up to 300 thousand people, which have adopted/updated the strategy for socio-economic development during the period from June 28, 2014 to August 1, 2018.

Submit application – until August 25, 2018 at konkurs2018@leontief.ru.

The onsite semifinals of the main category and finals of the private categories will be held on September 25, 2018 in Moscow in the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation. The finals and MSC-2018 Awards Ceremony will take place in St. Petersburg during the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum on October 22.
