On November 16-17, the All-Russian Strategic Development Forum "Cities of Russia 2030: Crossroads of Opportunities" held in Yekaterinburg.

Forum Organizers: Yekaterinburg City Administration, Union of Russian Cities, Association of Municipalities "Cities of the Urals".

Supported by: State Duma Committee on the Federal Structure and Local Self-Governance; Council of Federation Committee on the Federal Structure, Regional Policies, Local Self-Governance and the Affairs of the North; United All-Russian Association of Municipalities (Congress); Presidential Envoy to the Ural Federal District; The Governor and the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region; ICSER Leontief Centre; Foundation of Institute for Urban Economics; Institute of Economics, Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences; Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Forum was held at several venues, including the City Administration and Yeltsin Center, and addressed the development challenges of the major cities.

Leonid Limonov, Director-Coordinator for Research Programmes at ICSER Leontief Centre, spoke at the final plenary session.
