2017-07-20 :: On July 20 Meeting of the Coordination Council Meeting on Cross-Border and Interregional Cooperation of the North-West Federal District Held in St. Petersburg
On July 20, 2017 meeting of the Coordination Council on Cross-Border and Interregional Cooperation of the North-West Federal District was held in St. Petersburg, chaired by Anastasia Kuznetsova, Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North-West Federal District.
The meeting’s work was attended by members of the Russian National Sub-Committee within the INTERREG Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020 from federal structures: Igor Kapyrin, Deputy Director of Department of European Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation; Anna Popova, Deputy Director of the Department of Development and Regulation of Foreign-Economic Activity, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation; Svetlana Bibichkova, Head of Interregional and Cross-Border Cooperation Development Unit, Department of Development and Regulation of Foreign-Economic Activity, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
ICSER Leontief Centre was presented by Irina Karelina, Director-General, Secretary General of Russian National Sub-Committee and Elena Belova, Secretary General, Head of Development Department at ICSER Leontief Centre, Member of Russian National Sub-Committee.
Irina Karelina made a report on the theme "Results and Prospects of the INTERREG Baltic Sea Region Programme (first calls’ results)". Participants discussed launch results of Russia-EU Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes 2014-2020, as well as the draft concept of the Expanded Meeting of the Coordination Council Meeting on Cross-Border and Interregional Cooperation of the North-West Federal District within the third day of XVI All-Russia Forum "Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia" (October 23 - 25, 2017).
