On May 26-27 Senior Reseach Fellow Denis Kadochnikov, Head of Research Department Nina Oding, Senior Reseach Fellow Lev Savulkin and Junior Research Fellow Andrey Yushkov took part in the VI International Conference "Cinema and Capital" (St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg State University, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences). Conference Organizer – Center for Study of Economic Culture of SPbSU.

The conference topic – "Cinema and Capital" - brings together specialists from different fields of knowledge: economists, philosophers, film historians, sociologists, historians, anthropologists, creative professionals, representatives of the film industry.

Denis Kadochnikov made a report on the theme "Cinema and the Symbolic Capital of a Territory" and Nina Oding, Lev Savulkin and Andrey Yushkov - "Financing of Cinema in Russian Regions: How Much and Why?".
