2017-04-26 :: Irina Karelina, Elena Belova, Boris Zhikharevich and Elena Chetvergova Took Part in a Meeting of the Working Group of All-Russia Forum "Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia" (Moscow, Ministry of Economic Development of Russia)

Director-General Irina Karelina, Director of the Resource Center for Strategic Planning under Leontief Centre Boris Zhikharevich, Secretary General, Head of Development Department Elena Belova and Press Secretary, Head of Publication and Advertising Department Elena Chetvergova took part in the meeting of the working group under Organizing Committee of All-Russia Forum "Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia" (Moscow, Ministry of Economic Development of Russia). The working group approved the Forum dates – October 23-24, 2017 and the main topic – Implementation Tools and Resources. As always, Forum will be held in St. Petersburg. 

Forum Organizers: State Duma of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg City Administration, Center of Strategic Research Foundation, ICSER Leontief Centre.

The Strategic Planning Forum Programme will involve two subject cores. The first core is Strategic Planning Mechanics focused on compliance with the 172-FL "On strategic planning in the Russian Federation", organization of work on planning, forecasting and planning technologies, schemes for linking vertical and horizontal plans, search and selection of implementation tools. The second core is Strategies’ Content focused on current trends, guidelines of strategic documents at the federal level, ideas and projects that promote development, smart economy, new resources to implement strategies.

The working group approved six thematic lines:

• Strategic documents at the federal level - regional implications
• Implementation success factors: project management, tools, resources.
• Bringing the future closer: technological revolution, smart economy.
• Best practice of regional and municipal strategic planning, technology planning news.
• Sustainable development - the keynote of modern strategies (The Forum’s Green Day).
• International cooperation for regional development.
