2017-03-03 :: Elena Belova and Olga Iakimenko Took Part in a Study Visit to Oulu (Finland) under Green Mobility Project – Towards Clean, Healthy and Accessible Environment


From February 27 to March 2 Russian experts had the study visit to Oulu (Finland), Winter Cycling Capital of the World under Green Mobility Project – Towards Clean, Healthy and Accessible Environment. A delegation of Russian experts presented by the Cycling Advisor of the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, employees of the St. Petersburg Parking Management Center, representatives of the public project Velosipedization of St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk City Administration and VELOVE cycling movement has visited Oulu to get acquainted with organization of the bicycle infrastructure. Elena Belova, Project Coordinator and Olga Iakimenko, Development Coordinator presented the ICSER Leontief Centre. Under the study visit Finnish colleagues have shared experience of development of the cycling culture and infrastructure in Oulu that is recognized as the best place in the world for winter cycling.

The Green Mobility Project is implemented by the ICSER Leontief Centre with the financial support of the Nordic Council of Ministers.
