Membership of Employees in Partner Organizations

Leontief Centre’s cooperation with public authorities is developing on the basis of membership of senior managers and employees in public advisory councils:

• Expert Advisory Council under the Chair of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation ­– Boris Zhikharevich, Leonid Limonov;
• Public Council for Small Business Development under the Governor of St. Petersburg - Irina Karelina;
• Public Council under the Committee for Economic Policy and Strategic Planning of St. Petersburg - Boris Zhikharevich (Chairman), Arthur Batchaev;
• Public Council under the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg - Irina Karelina;
• Public Council under the Committee for Finance of St. Petersburg - Leonid Limonov;
• Public Council for Independent Quality of Work Assessment of Organizations Providing Social Services for Citizens under the Committee for Social Policy of St. Petersburg – Tatiana Vlasova.

Leontief Centre’s employees participate in the work of a number of professional associations, academic councils and societies, are members of the editorial boards of leading academic journals:

• Leonid Limonov - Member of Academic Council at Higher School of Economics St. Petersburg; Fellow and Russia Division Ambassador of Regional Studies Association (RSA), Member of Editorial Board of the RSA international journal Area Development and Policy;
• Irina Karelina - Member of the Committee of Civil Initiatives, established by Alexei Kudrin to support reforms and develop civil society; Member of the Expert Council of ANO "Strategic Partnership "North-West" and the Board of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Foundation; Member of St. Petersburg Union of Scientists, Member of the Council of Non-profit partnership National Urban Planners’ Guild; Member of the Organizing Committee of the National Prize for Applied Economics; and also Member of the Board of Association of Russian Economic Think Tanks and the Russian Economic Developers Association;
