20th Anniversary

In September 2011 the Leontief Center celebrated its 20th anniversary. Due to this event the jubilee conference "20 years: results and perspectives" was held on the 10th September at St. Michael’s (Engineers’ Castle). It was dedicated to the 20th anniversary from the beginning of the economic reforms and prospects for further development of Russia. The conference was attended by well-known economists and politicians (over 170 people). Among them were the representatives of federal and regional authorities, representatives of St. Petersburg’s and Moscow’s public and scientific organizations, foreign guests and journalists.
The conference was funded by Sberbank of Russia.
